Intersectoral Forum on Environmental Sustainability in the Extractive Sector: Best Practices and Policies from the Pacific Alliance and Canada

The Intersectoral Forum on Environmental Sustainability in the Extractive Sector: Best Practices and Policies from the Pacific Alliance and Canada will be held virtually every Thursday from October 28th to November 18th. The first three sessions will give participants the opportunity to learn from experts through theme-specific panels and Q&A sessions. The final webinar on Thursday, November 18th will be devoted to breakout sessions, making the event dynamic and participatory.

The Education for Employment Program in the Pacific Alliance (EFE-PA) is bringing together representatives from public sector, private sector and civil society during its 4th thematic forum. The objective of this event is to exchange environmental best practices, policies, and guidelines for the extractive sector and to sharing knowledge and experiences from Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Canada, in order to achieve a dynamic and enriching regional dialogue among the participant delegations.
